The WINDS-Caribe Virtual Community is an informative platform which also contains a database with information about key regional ICT actors and projects. This tool is articulated with a platform to hold a virtual community of ICT researchers from the Caribbean.

During the two project years, the main goal of this community has been to foster a debate about the key topics associated with ICT research and development (R&D) in the Caribbean and the collaboration opportunities in projects among regional actors and between the Caribbean and European researchers, in the context of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Although the project has finalized, this tool will continue offering its services.
